Short +

The Short began with an ink leak in my vintage Waterman 52 1/2 fountain pen. I felt a sense of mission to create something that would retain its size while using a modern unit for peace of mind. I should have stopped there, but I couldn't resist the desire to add a point (accent) to the balance that had been ingrained in me since making the Short. I created a blueprint, tools, implements, and jigs to realize this, and the result is the Short+ .

We have left the name Short because we are concerned about being able to manage further derivatives .
